Yes comparing on same machine. We have used ODBC driver to pull the data from Oracle. Will using OLEDB driver improve the performance ?

We have been using views to fetch the data from oracle when we extract the view data from SQL developer and it runs fast but when this runs from Qlikview re-load its execution time is double up.. and all views are full load.

Please suggest me anything can be used to improve the reload. Whenever I see the log of Qliview it always show Reloading everytime and not even fetch data from view..

Are you running the comparing queries on the same machine?

If not then it could be a data transport issue caused by moving large amount of days across the network.

Can you show an example of a Qlikview document log that shows the amount of time it takes to pull the data from Oracle? How much additional time does it take to pull into Qlikview compared to running it on SQL developer? Is Qlikview on the same box as the database from which you're pulling data or does it have to go across your network? Does the reload always take the same amount of time regardless of when you execute it?

Thanks,
