Calculation time out in charts- QV 12

We are upgrading from QV 11.2 to QV 12 at one of the client. There are some heavy tables in the front end for which we have to export the data in excel and share it to users from Qlikview. The data is getting populated fine in QV 11.2 but the same is not getting populated in QV 12. We are getting the error 'Calculation Time Out'. We again downgraded the version to 11.2 and it's working fine.

Can anyone suggest how to resolve this issue.

I am getting the issue in Qlik desktop. Hadn't hosted the application yet on QMC of QV12 server.

Then please check the Desktop Client Settings:

Open Desktop Client -> Help -> About QlikView

Check Screenshot

The Default Setting is -1 which means unlimited.

New procedure for changing time-out setting for QlikView Server

From QlikView November 2017, the procedure for modifying time-out setting for QlikView Server has

changed. To set a time-out period different from the default settings of 60 seconds, you must modify the

QVWebServer.exe.config file by adding the setting SocketTimeOutInSeconds followed by the desired

time-out period. The QVWebServer.exe.config file is located in C:\Program Files\QlikView\Server\Web

Server.

The previous time-out setting QvsTimeout, located in C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\WebServer\Config.xml, is

no longer applicable. If you had previously modified QvsTimeout to apply a custom time-out period, you

must set the same value for SocketTimeOutInSeconds in the QVWebServer.exe.config file.
