How do I create a table that compares values for one field from two tables?

I have two tables that have the same field, but may contain different values. I have one table with my Main data and one table with my Mapping data. Each tables contains a field called CostCenter. I want to make sure all the CostCenter values from my Main table are contained in the Mapping table. I want to have a table with a field that shows if the values from Main are in Mapping. How can I do this comparison? It is essentially what a vlooup() in Excel does.

I'd suggest you to take a look at the ApplyMap function

Don't join - use Applymap instead
