Hii Tincholiver,

Thanks for the suggestion, but we are having our date fields in the dimensions in the Qlik charts. And our management don't wish to use excel to format the dates .They wish the output from Qlik should be, by default in date format.

Please tell me if I got your thoughts correctly.

Hi All,

While I am exporting my date fields (or number fields) in qlikview ,they are getting converted to text in the excel file.Is there any way we can fix this.

For number fields ,if we use round() function in expression , they appear as numbers in the exported excel. Is there any cheat available for date fields as well, for exporting them as dates(and not as text). We are using QlikView 12.

Thanks in advance
