What to check before loading data into QlikView Document.

At the start of the project when we know about the source database/tables. What are all the checks that we need to do before loading in to QlikView. I mean the list of Checklists before loading into QlikView.

Thanks a lot for your response. I am not asking about the prerequisite things before loading the data. I am asking about the Data checks(Data quality checks) when we receive the data for the very first time before loading it into qlikview. Hope you have for what I am trying to say.
