topic expression in QlikView

If( [Type] = 'A' , -1 * [Volume] * NUM([ Rate]) )

now i want to add contract year field in the expression

so basically if type is A and contract year is following calculate the year value.

so i have a table with

2016 12.4

2017 52.2

2018 12.12

Can you explain a little more please what your expected output should be. Can you share some more data? You can give your Contract Year in your if like If(Type = 'A' and Year = '2016' , yourexpr) but i believe this is not what you are looking for, so need more information.
