Are they in the buffers directory? If so, they are qvds created automatically by the BUFFER Load prefix. Check your User Preferences, General "Keep Orphaned QVD Buffers", If it's checked on, I suggest checking it off. You can read about this option here: https://help.qlik.com/en-US/qlikview/November2018/Subsystems/Client/Content/QV_QlikView/User_Preferences_General.htm

-Rob
http://masterssummit.com
http://qlikviewcookbook.com
http://www.easyqlik.com

They are not in the Buffers directory. Same directory as that folder, but not in it. "Keep Orphaned QVD Buffers" is unchecked by default.

Complete path: C:\Users\qlikviewuser\AppData\Local\QlikTech\QlikView\. This same location contains the Buffers folder and a QVPE.dat file.
