Sort by numeric value

Hi All,

I'm fairly new to Qlik so hoping you can help...

I have a straight table with two dimensions and one expression for which I have restricted the values so only the largest 10 values are showing for the second dimension. I have applied sort descending by numeric value, but this does not seem to have worked and the figures are presenting in no apparent order.

If you could point me in the right direction I would be very grateful!

Can you make sure your expression column is at top in SORT TAB of chart property as per below.

if you already have this setting in place, can you share you qvw or demo qvw ?
