Good morning

We are migrating from 11.20 to QV November 2018 and switching the machines.

In the Help I found:

I need some confirmation that in my case I only need to change Config.xml file.

Or does this 6. paragraph talk also about xml files in ProgramData\QlikTech\ManagementService subfolders?

I think we should assume that this also includes all relevant xml files in the copied QVPR folder. There are quite a lot of QVPR files that reference the (old) hostname and need to be modified.

The help text is indeed a bit ambiguous.

Today we successfully made the migration but we had some issues thought 🙂

We changed also information from current machine to the target machine in all the files that we in folder and subfolders of ProgramData\QlikTech\ManagementService
