Report Linking

Afternoon again!

I need to create a button/text box with link that when activated, opens the linked report to my dashboard/sheet.

I know how to create a button which activates filter panes etc & to show & hide items conditionally but unsure how to 'tell' QV to "[Open XYZ Report] when [abc] is selected."

you can assign layout using

If(Field = 'XYZ', 1,0)

Do you need to navigate to another app?
- On button - Add action - External - Open Qlikview document (or Open URL)
or go to sheet on the same app
- On button - Add action - Layout - Activate Sheet

Thanks both for the responses.

I may have been trying to do a function that doesn't exist.
(To open the QV Report as a document (similar to a PDF view))

But I solved the main issue which was to open the QV report via: actions > print > report. And from here it can be "Previewed" and Printed which is the end goal.

I found the Report ID eventually
