Dear Our Experts

Please help me to overcome the issue I am forwarding to you. I have loaded two tables both table carries BR_CODE , PRODUCT_CODE hence when the data are loaded a loop is created. What I did was to rename the BR_CODE as B_CODE then the former issue wont come but what I expect is not getting. As can be seen what is in the NRP Table total sum of both RA & EH get populated in every Branch code. Actually what is in the NRP table carries data for only RA & EH codes. Please go through my working & help me to get my output.

Thanks

Neville

I think that you should try concatenating both tables. Thus you would not need to rename BR_CODE and won't get any loops.

Nevile

the issue is the different levels of granularity between the tables.

your inline is PRODUCT_CODE, ACCOUNT_CODE

NRP BR_CODE , PRODUCT_CODE

while the FR table is BR_CODE, ACCOUNT_CODE

your visualization wants BR_CODE , PRODUCT_CODE

it doesn associate it self neatly within it self

i think you will need to use a generik key concept and link all of these dimensions together

check below

Generic keys

Dear Ranjith,

Thanks a lot for helping me out on this. Frankly speaking I have no much idea what you propose being done over my data set. If you don't mind could you check my data & provide me some working. I have no idea where & how to start this altogether. I have actually three tables & their dimensions

TB-Table: (ACCOUNT_CODE,BR_CODE,TYPE)

NRP-Table: (BR_CODE,PRODUCT_CODE)

IN LINE-Table (ACCOUNT_CODE,PRODUCT_CODE)

I have got some difficult calculations using In line data. If possible, while keeping that data as it is, are we having some alternatives to do on balance two tables. Sorry for troubles made, if possible please provide me some working with the places where such treatments to be made

Thanks a lot for your time to response me

Neville

Ranjith,

What I need is to get NRP in one column calculated based on data in the TB Table & In line table & again get the NRP from cross table structure & to be matched. If I keep only one Branch data (RA or EH ) in the cross table, I get the NRP Figures separately in two columns & be matched. But once one more branch is added, results are produced with the addition of both Branches.

After all,

RA Code figures for each Product codes obtained from the formula to be placed against the same kind of figures obtained from cross table data.
