Hi all,

Can we move all saved/copy bookmarks to the new document version?

Whenever we promote new version of document(s), user loses their saved bookmarks.

Is there anyway we can retrieve the Bookmarks created by a specific user

Hi, as I know server bookmarks are stored in SHARED files, try to rename this file to new document's name. But if new document contains new fields with OneAndOnlyOne Property or some fields that have been stored in bookmaks are missing then these bookmarks won't work.

Hi,

In new document if i add new fields as a default selection, the old bookmarks are deleted . Can you pls give me some suggestion to overcome this

The Shared File Viewer Power tool can export shared bookmarks to XML but I don't think it's possible to edit SHARED files. There is a workaround for document bookmarks, you can export them to XML, make changes and import back. But it can be so that users can easier restore the bookmarks themselves.

If you would be able to export server bookmarks and make adjustments try to import them to the document. I've never do this but maybe it will work.
