Can End Users create new reports over the web using QlikView?

End user cannot create report on web.

But he can create objects and charts. on the same report

hi,

yes they can when accessing server based qvw documents using the plug in.

In qlikview server "server collaboration" must be allowed and then ensure that this is turned on in each document in the Document properties->Server tab.

Users can create their own reports/charts and then share these with other users.

this has been available since v8.5.

User Cannot create their report from scratch in web view.

He cannot even reload documents from the web.

What pat said is correct But when you talk about creating a report from scratch on web Its not at all possible....

Secondle abt Ad-hoc report.

Backend Data model will be developed first. Later of course it requires collobration the end user can create it own chart by utilising the model which is already build.

He cannot add any new dimensions from web view or accesspoint.

Once the backend model is developed; where can the end users create new charts?Can they do this over the web or will it require a desktop client.

User can't create report on the web but if user have a named cal then they can download the application and design report on desktop.

Out of Curiosity QlikView available on Cloud has any relation or can it solve the issue of creating reports over the web.
