Multi select report

Hi all,

Sunny Talwar

I have a adhoc report the application is working fine enough.

with the dimensions

Company

month

year

product

My requirement is : 1. whenever user selects the dim and measure combination with year and month and one measure

in the result table it show in order like first year and then month [ this should be every selection ]

2. by default it is asking to select one measure and one dimension instead user want to select two dimensions and two measures

how can I do this?

For Req. 1 - If you need Year and Month to always apear as 1st and 2nd dimension respectively then change the sequence on the dimension tab.

Req. 2 - You can select any number of dimensions and measure (it says 'atleast' one). If you want to change the message then it can be changed on the General tab -> error Message->

I am not sure if this is what you were looking for.

thanks Raju,

1. sort order is working as expected - working fine now

2. this one by default table should show any of two dimensions and measures should select [ like how we set always one selected value like that user want two values to be selected]

this requirement -bcz user don't want to see empty table while opening the document that's why.

hope this is clear?

may be you want to add on activate sheet trigger like

Click Ctrl+Alt+S to open Sheet properties -> Triggers Tab -> Click on Activate sheet -> Actions -> Select in field like below:

But if we are hiding the tabs in that case these triggers will not work so we have to go for actions in that case how can we perform this

i am also having the req but triggers will not work in my app because we are using buttons to navigate sheets and tab row is hide
