Hi all,

i started working on one New project from scratch so i need you guys suggestions to move on.

1. what are all the questions we need to ask the bussiness?

2. what is basic things i need to do from my end?

3.what are prerequisite need to take to start fresh project?

4.Any DB related questions need to ask bussiness?

any other things required can anyone explain it will be very helpful to me learn from scratch .

There are a lot of good documents and resources there. You have a checklist and some best practice documents which should help, but keep in mind all projects have some differences and sometimes you won't know what to ask before you talk to the client

I cannot think of anything beyond that. That is a full scope.

- What you should do is to let the client draw you a picture of what they want.

- COnfirm everything you understand and ask the client if they understand it that way too.

- Also invite other stake holders to your gatherings. There might be a dependency.

Most important thing you should make sure is you have the required data/fields they are asking to show.

Do weekly or monthly demo with client to clarify this is what they need?

Cus many times Clients change requirements in their mind and expect us to read their minds.

As soon as you get the requirements, get a formal sign-off and freeze the requirements once every one has agreed upon.

2. check if QV will be the right tool to achieve the solution.

3. Ask for data sources and get access to required DB.
