External Users - Text Box

Hi All,

Is it possible to add a Data field/column to a table where external users can type in responses or comments? Or maybe a text box to do the same?

We have a dashboard on a server for externals to view status of a project and it would be helpful if they had a place to population their notes or feedback.

Yes.

Please check and launch the below demo app and check the "Commissions" sheet.

User can enter any value to change the data as per his/her requirement. Hope this will help you.

Hi Valerie,

You can achieve this by using input box in QlikView , but as you want to input feedback and comments you can try to store there inputs into QVD from the dashboard.

Create a macro which will store the data of the input object into a QVD once they enter there comments (make a button), in this way you will not lose any feedbacks of users.

I will try to make sample later.
