      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;The AccessPoint is a combination of services, most of them created by Qlik (except possibly for the Web server displaying the AccessPoint landing page) whose cooperation results in output displayed in a user's web browser. The AccessPoint is usually just the page on which the document thumbnails are listed initially. As soon as you open a document, control is forwarded to QlikView Server which sends the document information to your selected client. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you want to monitor what is happening to the AccessPoint itself, then you may have a look at a web site monitoring tool or service. If you want to monitor everything QlikView, have a look at the &lt;A _jive_internal="true" href="https://community.qlik.com/docs/DOC-5907"&gt;PowerTools&lt;/A&gt;. One of them checks the QlikView services at regular intervals and can send emails when one of those consituent services goes down.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
