Selecting in a Field and locking at the same time

Dear all,

At clicking in a button, I'd like to select all fields in a dimension and, afterwards, lock this dimension.

Is it possible?

I tried and it appears that is not possible to do that in the same dimension (CBU) at the same time:

It is going to work. What are you using in the "Select In Field" ? Based on the below screen shot, once you click a button it will select all the values in the field Country and locks the field. Hope this helps.
