Dear experts,

I currently try the way to run a load job from a command line as it is documented. QV Version is 8.5 SR6.

In the manual I can not find how to place UserID and Password in the command line.

Can anybody help me on this topic, please?

hi, to run a command line reload, you must change the access section, including the SERIAL field, something like this

ACCESS, USERID, PASSWORD, SERIAL

ADMIN, *, *, 1111 1111 1111 1111
ADMIN, ADMIN, ADMIN_PWD, *
USER, USER, USER_PWD, *

So, when the task runs, it will take the first line, with the user "*", be carefull with the serial, it must be in that format (XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX) (with spaces :P)

Dear Hector,

thank you for your reply,

but due to the whole architecture as a AJAX ZFC from external access, we are not able to change this to "*" without opening doors wide for unauthorized views.

We purely need to know how to place the UserID/PWD in command line as we need to get triggered by event.

Hi there,

did you ever find a solution to this? I also would prefer to be able to pass the login/pwd via the command line (I am on version 9 though, not sure if that makes any difference)...
