topic Creating rows with calculations in pivot tables in QlikView https://community.qlik.com/t5/QlikView/Creating-rows-with-calculations-in-pivot-tables/m-p/224882#M77244 <HTML><HEAD></HEAD><BODY><P>Hi all</P><P>I am trying to generate a financial report within QlikView.</P><P>I have a spreadsheet that defines which accounts should print on each row, as per below:</P><P>Grp Account</P><P>1 1001</P><P>1 1002</P><P>1 1003</P><P>2 2001</P><P>2 2002</P><P>3 calculation: sum Grp2 - sum Grp1</P><P></P><P>I have added the grouping as a dimension to my pivot table, and shown partial sums to get total of groups 1 and 2.</P><P>I want to have more lines underneath that perform specific calculations, so not a strict sum of other rows.</P><P>I have tried to us set analysis to return the totals of groups 1 and 2, but it is still wanting to naturally sum by the dimension in my chart, i.e. 3.</P><P>I hope I have explained this well enough, with my overly-simplified example above.
