Hello Together,

unfortunately, I found nothing in the forum. I would like to click on a (load) button and choose a CSV file to load in the Analyzer-Application. The fields are already predefined.

Unfortunately, I found nothing such in the qv-manual. Does anybody have an idea?

QlikView Analyzer is only for opening QlikView files; you must have QlikView Professional or Enterprise (<8.5) or QlikView Desktop with the appropriate license (9.0<) to load CSV files into QlikView.

Hi Jason,

thank you for your quick answer. I also have the other licensed products of QV.

The customer should have the possibility to load csv. Actually something like the "DocumentAnalyzer_V1.4.qvw" from Rob Wunderlich. This loads afterwards a qvw file in the published application QV and analyze it.

The only difference is that I would want not a qvw, but a csv file. Is there there really no alternative ?

Professional and Enterprise users are able to create QlikView documents using CSVs as the data source, but Analyzer users cannot. No QlikView product reads CSVs directly; the files must be loaded into a QlikView document first.
