Hi,

Seeking Advice on creating a Glossary for the dashboard.

The pretty standard Dashboarding sheet squential--> Intro, Main KPIs, Analytic, Details and Glossary.

On the Glossary page, it should be able to explain all the expression used for charts.

am thinking of the following layout.

Sheet	Chart	Expression (the whole set analysis statement)	Expression description(optional if is too manaual)	TBA	TBA

Is there a way to auto populate the first 3 columns?

the worst scenario is manual input, the updating potion will be a nightmare.

Or what is the best way to get this done?

hello

you can use

Parameters menu

expressions ..... (Ctrl Alt E)

select all type of expression and export it in excel

you will have to reformat the output .......

Ya, sort of having that idea too.

was hoping there is a better way... setup it at a few clicks and it will auto update in the future.

example, creating another chart with linkage to existing expression..

maybe i am just asking too much..
