How to make date variable work differently for two different charts

Hi All,

when i Select a date range(From- To) in selection of a calender for Current year ,the data should be displayed in chart corresponding to Current Year(Where I have maintained state for Current Year chart , simillaly when I select Date range( From- to)for previous year (where i have maintained state as B)so i want it should only work for Previous Year not for current year chart. I have maintained state but its not functioning properly.

Variable Vstart and Vend should work differently for two different charts.

Please help

following Are the expressions used for current Year

=num(count({ stateA<Sold_Date = {">=$(vstart)<=$(vend)"} >}DISTINCT SAPCode),'#,##0.0')

Following is the expression for Previous Year

=num(count({ stateB<Sold_Date = {">=$(vstart)<=$(vend)"} >}DISTINCT SAPCode),'#,##0.0')
