Hi Mike,

Can you share some sample data as it can give more clarity about your scenario and let me help you better.

As per my understanding, If you have exact same columns in each spreadsheet and if you load all then, all the data comes into one table and no key will be created.

Regards,

Akshaya

I have the source data in separate yearly spreadsheets.

each yearly spreadsheet contains the exact same fields. although obviously the data in the fields is different each year.

when I load the yearly spreadsheets, all the fields are turned into keys.

What is the best way to load each yearly spreadsheet.

does it matter that every row is linked as a key row?

The main keys I would be interested in would be

Year

Batch

ProcessID

Processname

any advice would be greatefully received

You can concatenate the data, and give flags for different spreadsheets

Let them be in one table only, you would like to create master calendar as well for Time period based slicing and dicing.
