    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Yes, it should be possible to achieve this using alternate states:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1) Create an alternate state AS&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2) Set the listbox for filter 3 to state AS&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3) Leave the chart B inherited from default state&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;4) In the chart aggregations, use set analysis to bring in the selection from the alternate state list box:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;=Sum(&lt;STRONG&gt;{$*AS}&lt;/STRONG&gt; Value)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;or&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;=Sum(&lt;STRONG&gt;{$&amp;lt;[Filter 3] = AS::[Filter 3]&amp;gt;}&lt;/STRONG&gt; Value)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi all,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have a chart which should have an exclusive filter for it. i.e. this filter when selected should affect only this chart.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;But this chart should be responsive to other filters as well.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;for e.g in one sheet I have chart A and Chart B&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Filters are filter 1, filter2, filter 3.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Filter 3 should be only for chart B. when any selection is made in filter 3 it should be reflected only in chart B.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;But when any selections made in filter 1 or 2 should also reflect in chart B.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Kindly let me know if this can be achieved by alternate states&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Anupama Jagan&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
