Group by dimension

I am having an issue with grouping certain departments in groups, and was wondering if anyone could help.

What I currently have is this:

=If(Match([Department], 'HR', 'HR-Development'), 'HR', If(Match([Department], 'Economy', 'Finance'), 'Economy'))

This works great and I could continue this on by infinity, but I have roughly 10 departments that I don't want to group by anything, and if I don't include them in the code they just get excluded from the Straight Table. This also causes an issue when new departments are created, since they won't show up.

My question is: Is there any way I can have the departments I exclude from the formula to simply show up under their original [Department] name?

Try this

=If(Match([Department], 'HR', 'HR-Development'), 'HR', If(Match([Department], 'Economy', 'Finance'), 'Economy',[Department]))
