Excel extraction Column issue

Hi All,

I have multiple Excel files that needs to be loaded into QlikView at once. Attached is the sample.

Issue is "F" Column: this column is a link to HTML File which is placed in Excel's 6th column. When I load these files into QV either multiple files at once or a single File, I'm not able to get this last column "HTML REPORT" in QV.

I formatted this F column as A,B,C,D,E and then tried, QV reads it in a go but I cannot format each and every Excel file to happen.

Please help how to load this last column as well in the same given format as in Excel.

Since you can get the application to load once you have formatted it, one option would be to write a VBA macro in Excel to format all files in a given directory with your revised format.

Another option might be to save the files as CSV or TXT (tab delimited). This can be automated with VBA as well.

Hello Ishita,

Can you please show me the screenshot of error which you are getting?

Because when i have checked your qvw, you are loading only 5 column. And when i load excel file in my qvw, it is giving me all column which are present in sample excel file.

Can you please more elaborate on error?
