Try to create the load-statement with the file-wizard. By excel-files as source identical columns will be incremented like:

Description1,

Description2,

...

I believe by text-files this feature isn't available but there you could use no labels instead of embedded labels within the file-format and could just pick the right column-number and rename them like you want.

- Marcus

Hi Friends!

I am trying to upload an excel table with common (repeated) column headers (screen shot attached, the header name is 'Description'), but still unable to get correct data loaded in my file. These are the 2 things I have already done with out any success -

1. Commenting the ones I don't need

2. Used the 'as' statement to rename all of them

Every time Qlikview is fetching data from the last 'Description' field, which I don't need. Appreciate your help on the same guys!!!

Regards,

Aditya
