    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Yes we can do that,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;make sure below line item while moving report from one instance to another instance&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1) DSN (excel,database should work&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2) try to keep both local machine/dev/uat vs production machine same folder structure&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3) simply copy all the files (.qvw, excel source, include variable if u used, dsn connection etc)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;4) create the qmc task (just replicate the uat to prod), for u r desktop case not required&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;also check this jagan note&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://community.qlik.com/docs/DOC-7297"&gt;Checklist for migrating Dashboard to Production&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks,Deva&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <title>Moving reports across machines</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is it possible to simply copy a report across to a new machine, so long as all of the databases are still available? For speed purposes I am looking to create the report on my local machine with copy data before migrating this on to the server where the live data is.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The two machines have two different product keys.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
