Cannot see edit script option on dashboards

Hi Community,

I have a named CAL and I can access the QMC. When I try to access the dashboards developed by previous developers I can't see script for them. I don't see edit script and reload options. I added me as Admin in QDS, still no luck. The guy who developed the dashboards left the job I have to make changes to script Please help.

If you are trying to edit the script when opening a document from the server, you won't see it. You must navigate to the folder though Explorer and open the QVW that way. You will also need access rights to the folder(s) the QVW's reside in.

did you reload ? if not reload again to see if it changes .

Hi,

It's seems that your qvw app reduced/distributed using Publisher via qmc, the distributed/reduced qlikview app doesn't have the script. you can able to see the script in original script (i mean before distribution/reduction)
