Hi All,

I have added my name in named CAL as well but still i am not able to access qlikview files on server.

Pfa the screen shot

Please advice.

Screenshot showing you are working on Personal edition so lease your qlikview license the you can open the file.

Do you have a Local Client cal or are you trying to lease a license from the server? In the second case you need to make sure the License Lease is enabled in your Qlikview server and that either dynamic assignedment of user cals is enabled and a user cal is available to be allocated to your user or you manually assign a user cal to your user. Once all that is taken care of you can use the Open in Server option in QV Desktop to connect to the server and authenticate yourself and lease a license. If you have a Local Client license then you need to enter the serial number and the control number of the license and apply that.

Hi ,

You need to lease a license. you can go to qlik desktop

Go to file-> Open in server

Enter qvp://servername

select altername identity and enter Domain/username and password and hit enter

it will lease the license

Which type of authentication are you using to access access point :

please Share the screenshot

Note: The server from which you are trying to lease the license should not be "Qlik Test server"
