Replace input box with straight table for variable input

My need is to replace input box with the straight table for variable input.

STEP 1:

I have defined two variables in variable overview

STEP 2:

Loading variables and then storing these variables in a text file

STEP 3:

User to change variables and when reload is pressed ,variables will now be updated in the text file.

Now in the step 3,

i need to use Straight table instead of Input box for variable input.

So that user can change the variables in straight table and the same will be updated when i press RELOAD button.

I tried using INPUTSUM but it is not working.so is there any way i can make it work??

I need straight table because of many other reasons for which input box is not helpful

If not straight table, is there any other way.

Let me know if there is any workaround ?

A straight table is used to display information. Outside of putting an event trigger on the variable, I don't know if this is possible.
