You need to explain about the below things in detail.

Domain of the dashboard (finance/Sales/Supply chain etc)
Target users (sales executives, Managers, customers, CEO etc)
Data sources used
Connectivity used
explanation about fact and dimension tables
Data model creation and its challenges
reload time, frequency and type of reload (Incremental load if any)
List of KPIs used
List of Charts for each KPIs
How the KPIs benefited the end users (eg: My receivable amount overdue dashboard helps the client to collect 2M USD extra each week etc)
Security applied in the dashboard
Number of users

It's better to explain the things based on the role you played on the project .
