when i am practising set analysis i found some difficulty in writing the expression.please can anyone help me in getting solution for my doubts

Try like this

Current Year and Current Month Exp:

sum({$<Year={$(=Max(Year))},Month={ "<=$(max({<Year={$(=Max(Year))}>} Month))>$(Max({<Year={$(=Max(Year))}>}Month)-1)"}>}

Last Year and Current Month Exp:

sum({$<Year={$(=Max(Year-1))},Month={"<=$(Max({<Year={$(=Max(Year))}>}Month))>$(Max({<Year={$(Max(Year))}>}Month)-1)"}>}

---------------------------

For Current Year :

Sum({<year= {$(=max(Year))}>}Sales)

For Previous Year :

Sum({<Year= {$(= max(Year-1))}>}Sales)

Not there you will get this option at below on left hand side you no need to reply that just check left hand corner side.
