LDAP configuration

Hi,

I am trying to configure LDAP on the Qlikview server.

After conencting to LDAP from QMC, I am unable to search for user id.

Error message: Search criteria is too generic.

What should be the settings done for LDAP filter, id poperty name, account name etc. ?

Hello Sayali,

If searching user by name,

try --> *ABC*

If searching user by userid,

try ---> domain_name\username

Also, please check the LDAP path and credential used to connect to LDAP server.

Hello,

I am attempting to configure LDAP using QVM DSC Configurable LDAP and not having any luck. I have configured the settings but am not able to log in using existing ldap authentication that works on other servers. I am using QlikView 12, your docs are for r11 and blog info is years old and out of date, does not match r12 UI.

Is there a document for r12 that describes ldap configuration in detail?
