new to qlikview

Hi all,

I am new to qlikview and working in L3 support project of Qlikview in my organisation where i am not getting much exposure.Can anyone pls suggest me what should i do to get hand son of proper development project or should i change the organisation?

Well

for starters make some data model and try out all the object etc.

then you have already joined qlik community so solve others problem here, dive deep into it, solve them get your hands on.

no better way than this.

Need sample DataBase for preparing some Qlikview reports.

Don't worry, if you are ready to learn the Qlikview then it's not necessary to have project.Just be in touch of Qlikview & explore.

Hi Sharma,

PFA...

Attached data is related to "Northwind" Data base in MS Sql server.

It will help to you for your practice.

Step 1 :- retrieve data from Different tables ,each excel sheet is a different table(Employee,Product...etc)

Step 2 :- create the data model like below.

Step 3:- Create QlikView objects like(LS box,Ms box,Charts...etc)

This will give you a sample idea of learning QV.

Example charts are shown below.

After that take the scenarios from QlikView Community and give solutions as your level best and feel you were comfortable in QV.
