Not able to draw reference line on x-axis

Hi Team,

I have date dimension having the format (CW-WWYYY) (i.e Current Week - Week- Year )on x-axis and sum(sales) on y-axis.I have to certain specific range of date that need to be highlighted.So i need to add reference line for that on x-axis of line chart.I am not getting continuous x-axis on presentation reference line section

Can anyone help me on this.

Hi,

You should go to Axis tab and select the dimension and check the option "Continuous" once you do this then the option of continuous will be enabled in reference line.

Thanks for your information .

If i check the "Continuous" option chart throwing the error "No numeric values on x-axis" . I am using the below format in the x axis . "CW012017" .

I have attached the sample app . Can you check on this .

True, that option will only work when your dimension is numeric field.
