Hi Guys

My customers has 5 qlikview licensed personal edition

How , we consider to switch to a server .

i have few questions

1- we need to install qlik client for eash user same as before .

2- as a developer i use the same tools in my PC

3- until today i used a batch file to reload my docs , is it done same way to reload the docs ?

Any documents guide available ?

1 - no, the users can see the qlikview documents (.qvw) using a web browser; there are other option (qlikview plugin, you need to install it; qlikview desktop and use open in server) but your users can live with the browser only

2 - yes, you develop a document (.qvw) with qlikview desktop, then you copy the document on the server, reload in server and your users can see the doc

3 - no, the server has a simple scheduler to reload the .qvw (server only); if you need a more sophisticated scheduler you can buy a publisher (server + publisher)
