I desperately need to "copy" or get some values from a straight table and then select those values in a field.

To answer your question directly - you need to use macros and QlikView APIs to retrieve the values from a straight table and force a selection in a field. You can use API Guide to find the relevant functions.

Perhaps, a better solution could be found if you'd like to describe your business problem.

Hi Oleg,

in the annexed qvd you can find an example of what I'm looking for...

I need to select in "Tab 1" the values I have obtained with an expression (Field F7) in "Tab 2".

I tried to use a macro but all I can do is to copy the values...
