Is there a way to change font and size of colum header text?

Yes,

Activate the "Design Grid" and then right click your header and "Custom Format"

Hi,

You can do but with a limited option.

Go to UserPreferences -> Design Tab -> Check the option "Always Show Design Menu Items"

Click on OK.

Right click on the column for which you want to change the size.

Look for the option "Custom Format Cell"

Here you can change the "Text Size" and make it 140% to look bigger".

You can also change color.
