Hi QlikView experts,

My demand is rather simple, I want to know if there is a file where CAL ASSIGNEMENT are stored?

The idea is to have this assignements (this file) backed up, so then when I have a problem with the server of QlikView, I can always access to the Cals assigement file.

I hope my question is clear !

Thanks

XML is the standard output format. You can create a QlikView document though that gets reloaded every night and translates the current XML export into a CSV file in a Shared folder or a network directory. Not too difficult. But you'll have to start by adding a setting to settings.ini, as detailed in the post you linked to.
