I have a question, is the section access only one method to restrict the acces for users to modify data or scrit in qlikview?

есть вопрос, является ли секция доступа ( section access ) единственным методом для ограничения доступа для пользователей чтоб те не могли вносить изменения в данных и в скрипте?

Hi,

You can do data restriction at qmc (loop and reduce , section access in qmc) and back end script method

Hi,

Not only reducing data;

* You can show the particular apps to particular users (at the portal particular user can see only the documents he's authorized)

* You can drill down this section access to the sheet level as well. (Shows only particular sheets in the document)

Apart from this Section Access you can slice the application and give the authorization to the particular users.

for an example you can slice the main application based on the user role and assign those to particular users.
