Dynamic refresh of qlikview from database

Hi,

I have an application wherein there is 30 crores plus data.

The requirement is that the data not be stored in Qlikview

Instead an input box should be available to user, and on entering the component value, data for that component value should be dynamically fetched from the database.

Please provide inputs on how this can be done.

Also the user will be accessing the dashboard from access point, what can be a way for dynamic user input ?

Hi Parul,

It should be stored in Qlikview then only it will give the result.

You might provide input box to filter data.

Hi Parul,

given a well structured data model you should be able to deal with this volume of data. However you might want to look into Direct Discovery.

If users use desktop client, its possible and reload depends on your database performance. This options doesn't work on AJAX client directly,

As Marcus said, well structured data model and some UI techniques you should able to deal GB of data easily in Qlikview.

At last, check out Direct Discovery option as well.
