Hi QV Community -

I have been building an app in the free personal edition of QlikView. The app is fairly large, with 15+ mil rows and close to 200 MB in size. Twice in the last two days the save has failed and message "This file contains inconsistencies and cannot be opened by Personal Edition" appears. Then all my work is lost.

This app is 100% homegrown and there are no other QV apps on my PC.

Any thoughts as to what is happening and a way to recover?

Thanks

Can't say what the cause is but we typically would keep backup copies. You can also go into User Preferences > Save tab > Use Backup

And specify a number of versions to automatically backup.
