Hi All,

I am working in QlikSense. I have to make connection with Password protected excel file. I am unable to load it. Can anybody help me? Thanks

But big issue is that I cannot keep the Excel file open every time I need to reload the data rather its a scheduled task. Also I am specifically working in Qlik Sense. What can I do in this case?

The ODBC loading worked in qlik sense the same like in qlikview. Further you could use various batches like mentioned here: Re: How to Load password protected excel file whereby you will need for it to enable the legacy mode: Qlik Sense Legacy mode to be able to use EXECUTE statement to trigger those batches. Otherwise you should request an unprotected copy of excel (it could be an OnClose- or an OnSave-macro within the excel).
