i have 4 lakh records in my table

when i click on preview. i don't think it is showing all 4 lakh records

it is showing sample records

Am i right???? Qliksss

What is "lakh"?

In general the table-viewer does not show sample records, but the first 100 or so actual records.

Lakh is like 100 Thousand. So he mean 400,000 records.

And Suresh, the Tableviewer only show some data and not all the records. Is this just a question on how many rows Tviewer displays or you have some other issue?

Hi ,

table viewer does not show the entire contents of a table,

its designed to show table structure of the current QlikView document.

Hello!

You can change count of preview rows.

1. Go to Help -> About QlikView...

2. Click right mouse button on qlikview icon.

3. Change DataPreviewSize value and click Set.

You can change the data preview size from Help in qlikview, from there you can change the display count.

You are not seeing sample but the first 100 or whatever count was selected in settings.

why would you do so in the previewer?

Just create a standard table with selectable dimensions and you are done.

Create a Table object in the sheet and add all the fields from the table you want into that. You can see all the records.

i will explain my requirement

i have 10 tables all tables are joined with common id "ID"

i have staright table for Quarter results Q1'17 Q4'16

for particular id i am getting wrong results

so i want to know from which table that ID is loading so i can go to my source (oracle)

and fetch records for that table and validate data

so tell me from which table that ID is coming from

if i don't know i have to run my database for each and every table then i need to find

Trying filtering each table with that ID value. then you can see i guess
