Can we able to disable/hide the notes functionality in qlik view published document.

can we disable that functionality or can we set to show to particular users who adds?

If I remember correctly, you need to untick the option 'Allow Server Annotations' in QMC -> System -> Setup -> QV Server -> Documents

AFAIK Server Annotations can only be enabled/disabled globally. It's either on or off. Not per document or per user.

can we restrict the visibility of the notes to that particular user ......who adds to the object.

Yes, you can, by selecting a different target audience when creating the Note (click the icon representing two people and you'll get a list box). You can choose from "Anyone who can see this object", "Specific people" or "Only me".

Note that the original author can also change the target audience later on, by simply opening the Note, clicking the pencil icon and selecitng a different listbox entry.

But IMHO you cannot (bulk-)change this from, say, the QMC.

QMC->System->Setup>Select QV Server->Documents ->Allow Server Annotations (Uncheck it) ->Apply

Note: This would affect all qvws.
