    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;you should be able to do this with using a set analysis in the chart where you do not want to have the effect of a certain selection shown.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am using a chart, where I show yearly trends - so if the user selects a specific year (such as 2010), the chart should still show 2007 - 2011. The expression I am using is the following:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;sum({$&amp;lt;Year = &amp;gt;} _net_sales)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hope this helps!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
