      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Root Cause:&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This could have something to do with the antivirus program restricting the installation .exe file.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Resolution:&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This problem might be cause by your anti-virus program. For a resolution on this you could extract the .msi package and install from these files.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1. Go to the command&amp;nbsp; prompt. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2. Find the desktop installation exe file. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3. Run the command &amp;gt; Qlik_Sense_Desktop_setup.exe -layout c:\temp&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;4. Go to C:\temp\AttachedContainer\SenseDesktop.msi and install it. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;5. Also install the DemoApps&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It should work 100%, let me still if u have same issue.       <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi Deva,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It ended up being an issue with my computers settings. We had to set an exception for qlik in Windows Defender since it was blocking the application.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I didn't get a chance to try your method before the exception was made but I appreciate your efforts!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
