Problem with List Box . Segregating Data in to different column of XL or CSV coming from single expression !

Hi All ,

I have a list box . Which does not consist of any dimension directly but an expression .

And that expression comprises a dimension '&' some expression .

What I want , is that , when I export data from this LIST BOX to XL or CSV , the dimension should come in one column and expression value should come in separate column .

NOTe : I don't want LIST BOX with Dimension and Expression separately . (Though this solves above ) .

Hi Shekhar,

Make sure that the Field selected in General tab as "DRUG" and apply your expression. Then you will get in two different fields.

Expression was selected as field. So, it is coming in a single column.

I dont think you can do that splitting into two values in excel using lisbox. But you can achieve by doing a trick.

if you are not satisfied with the above solution, one more solution here.

You can generate your file through script in CSV file format with your required delimiter, so here is the way,

STORE YourTableName into (text, delimiter is ',');

Thank You Siva , But my requirement was do find way when list box is having an expression .

Not like Dimension as field in General Tab and later adding expression in expression tab !!
